Connected math is a new program. It teaches you math skills of all kinds. Some of the things in the math book are fun but sometimes it could be difficult. Connected math is a program that suits kids from six-eight grades. All of the eight parts in the book are different somehow and in other ways they’re alike.

The eight parts of the connected math program are Bits and pieces one, bits and piece two, and bits and pieces three, shapes and designs, covering and surrounding, Prime time and How Likely Is It? We have done six books out of eight. Only two more and we will be finished.

My favorite unit out of all of the others would have to be How likely it is? This is because we did all of this fun stuff. We had to read this one thing in the book. It was about a kid and his mom. His mom wanted his to eat a healthy cereal for breakfast. The kid wanted to eat a cereal that was full of sugar. So to figure out what he would eat they needed to flip a coin. We got to do that in class. When we were done we could keep the money that we got. We needed to flip the coin thirty times and it was really fun. This was about probability.
